We'll take the High Road.

This day had classic 3's Semi Final written over over it.
As cup holders, we were always confident in what the result was going to me but we couldn't under-estimate the opposition. This was a good tactic as Gordonian's did have a few handy players who helped make this an interesting Semi Final.
From the start, Grange applied the pressure and we settled into the game quickly. The defensive strategy proving successful and leading the charge from the back, with the team working well together. After a couple chances up front we were confident we would soon get a goal.
Gordonian's proved to be reasonably difficult to break down though and defended well but eventually conceded a Short Corner. We took advantage of this and managed to take the lead. Later in the 1st half, a tidy shot at the back post extended our lead to two goals.
Things were going well at this point until Rich Miller took a stick to his head after an over ambitous/aggressive blind reverse pass from one of the opposition. With Rich on his way to hospital and our Manager taking him it required some changes. Robbie Croll stepped up & moved back into defence.
From this point we dominated the game with Tario only requiring to make two saves and us converting the 3 goal in the second half. This consisted of around 5-6 Grange players retaining possession from our own half controlling and passing the ball around the Gordonian Defence, waiting for the opportunity to strike before scoring a wonderfully worked goal.
Final Score was a well deserved 3-0
