Cold, wet and windy. Yep, it's almost time for the Christmas break
By Kenny McNally
Despite a good start we could not continue our incredible run of form and came second best to a pretty good side.
Mike White scored after 5 minutes and we were doing fairly well, but it did seem that their chances were becoming more frequent as the game progressed. So it was a pretty unhappy half time as we knew we could play a lot better.
Unfortunately we didn't.
They threw everything at us and with the wind in our faces we simply could not get the ball out of our own half. Slack passing and poor control meant that we could not keep possession and there was an inevitability about their equaliser.
Their winner came shortly afterwards and thereafter it was a more case of hanging on to a one goal defeat than any real prospect of getting the equaliser.
It wasn't for a lack of effort, but we were disorganised and sloppy and really will have to improve for next week's final game before the winter break.
