We put our thinking caps on and designed the Quarantine Cup to keep you engaged and active during this period of social distancing, plus to do our bit for the NHS.
What is it?
Quite simply – a running competition open to all across the club.
Participants will be drawn from a hat into leagues of 4 people during which they will ompete against each other at a set distance (between 1-10km) in a round robin format.
Thereafter it will be knockout.
Social distancing to be observed: do not arrange a run with the person you are drawn against.
Your run can be ran anywhere in the world, and on any terrain.
For instance, player A is drawn against player B to run 7km.
They will have a week to run the distance and the fastest time submitted from player A and
will be awarded a win and takes the 3 points. (only one submission allowed per player per tie).
