This week was a half 9 at the clubhouse - Jude hadn't even unlocked the door - to watch a few videos and discuss tactics for the ball in the evening.
We started slowly, absorbing some of wanderers pressure and settling in to what would be a physical game. After 10 minutes we made a breakthrough Andy Graham battling through midfield slipped through Calum Milne who took it round their last defender and slotted it home with a sweep from the top of the D through the keeper's legs.
Cammy drove into the D and struck high into the net not log before
Todd Harmsworth stepped on their centre back stole the ball to create a 1v1 against their goalie to make it three.
Half time came and we were 3-0 up, we had the majority of the play but struggled to connect that last pass to create more chances. Out of the 4 shots on target 3 were goals. Our plan for the second half was to score more, close the goal difference gap on Kelburne and really ensure we played good passing hockey.
We started the second half a bit frantically not finding our passes and generally being sloppy with possession and conceded early on - however, this spurred us on to play a bit better and start to focus a lot more.
Milney and Cammy scored two in quick succession to let us go 5-1 up.
Frank bagged his second and our 6th to secure the victory.
Dundee scored with the last move of the game to make it 6-2.
That's 5 wins on the trott with a chance to make it 7 in a row this weekend.
A solid win, this week we have a double header playing Edinburgh Uni on Saturday (11am at Fettes) and on Sunday a new, div 3, prospect Perthshire in the 2nd round of the cup (1pm at Bridge of Earn).
