Peace of mind I'm sure, especially if you have elderly relatives on board.

A day trip to Aberdeen and the sun came out with his hat on. Unfortunately, we weren't permitted to play under our straw boaters, so a fair number of us came back with some neatly seared foreheads.
On a slow, bobbly pitch confidence on the ball started low and never really got much higher than 'anxious', however, that wasn't the reason for us being 2-1 down at the half-time break. An inability to close down their two ball-players allowed them to set proceedings from their backline and into our half with minimal resistance. Doubled with the injury to G after being bowled-over in the D (ligament damage to his soft shoulder), we were now missing a natural centre midfield too. After Coaton had got thoroughly lost in that role, we changed things up at the break and the Doctor obliged while Weavers snuck back to happier climes on the left.
The second half was an improvement, and passes were at least made quicker, if not necessarily flatter. Following G's pre-injury goal, it took a while for the the equaliser, grabbed by whom I cannot recall, and then followed up swiftly by Andrew Devine's tap-in at the back stick to get our noses back in front. Coaton more or less put the game to bed with a volleyed rebound up the middle with about 10mins left on the clock.
Our opposition went to 11 outfielders but then set-up with 5 across their back-line and only 2 pretty tame, high forwards. And for that, we were much obliged. 4-2 at the final Pfiff.
With a few senior players to return for our semi-final tie things are looking positive, even if we can barely see the match on the horzion, being as it doesn't take place for another 5 weeks!
Thanks to the Wizard for umpiring and to GBrowne for rocking up mid-holiday.
