Nothing to lose - Everything to Gain

With a strong squad and a fond memory of visiting Clydesdale last season in a 4-4 thriller (ask Neil Christison about his goal) the team arrived early and were keen to get going. I was keen to forget about all the last minute squad changes on Friday & secure our win. This wasn't helped as Ross continually shook his head while I was announcing the line-up (but later discovered this was down to Ross's own Fantasy Team Line-up)

With Ross & Tom F performing the centre back roles & Iain in goals, we were set up with a very vocal & capable defence so were very well organised and set up to attack from the off.

In fact it only took around 10 minutes for Tom W to selflessly make a pass in the D which Gee dived on the end of, to curl the ball over an already diving Keeper for the first goal.

Half time saw us at 2-0 and us wanting to secure the next goal to finish off the game. The team didn't disappoint and we secured a further 3 goals that came from good team play. Tom W then finished off the game with another selfless pass under the keeper to Robert who simply passed the ball home to make it a 6-0 victory.
