The game didn't start particularly well, with possession being given away far too often and Grange seemingly unable to string two passes together. However a burst of pressure resulted in a corner and our first real chance of the match.
The most consistent aspect of our season to date has been our miserable performance from corners. We have scored two out of about 1000, but they were both fairly embarrassing mistakes that the defence would never tell their children about.
This time was different. Bunker stepped up and slammed home the ball, the keeper had simply no chance. Obviously the practice we had before the match had paid off, both of them.
The second half was little bit better, but Kinross were stronger than before and it was a relief when Greg Browne worked his way down the side-line and pulled it back for Mike White to slot home.
Kinross replied with vigour and it wasn't long before they scored to put the game back in the balance. It took a good save from Rich Miller (snr) to keep our lead and it took another corner to secure the win. This time Bunker returned the ball to McNally to slide into the net, another one that went to plan—who says lightning doesn't strike twice?
The game wasn't pretty but hard work paid off (again) and we are now sitting in an incredible third place in the league. Game on!
